Plein Air Event

Join us for a special plein air event on the scenic grounds of the Alice Ferguson Foundation.

,Four hours of painting will be followed by an optional wet hanging and sale, with awards for the top three entries. The event kicks off at 8 am sharp at 2201 Bryan Point Road. Park at the Cafritz Living Building. Come at 8:00 for an introduction to the grounds and their history from plein air leader Maria Barga, then paint until noon.

Artists who participate in the optional hanging and sale on Saturday afternoon and evening are responsible for any framing and hanging hardware required for display, as well as providing contact information for no-commission sales. All artwork must be properly wired for hanging. No sawtooth hooks will be allowed. 

Awards will be given by a panel of three judges.

Unsold artwork from this plein air show can be retrieved on Sunday, September 20 between 12 and 5 pm at the Cafritz Living Building.
