Create marbled paper and fabric at the Marbling Workshop on June 20, 2026
Experience the exciting and classic method of marbling papers and fabrics based on Turkish Ebru at the upcoming workshop led by AAA fiber artist Carol Heil on Saturday, June 20, from 2-5 pm at the Moyaone Community Center, 2311 Bryan Point Road. This workshop is sponsored by the Accokeek Artists Alliance.
After an overview and demonstration, you will float paints on water to create unique marbled prints. It’s fun, fascinating, and…messy! Bring an apron, gloves (optional), one old bath towel, beverage, and a snack. Professional-grade marbling paints, pre-treated papers and fabric, and marbling accessories for in-class and take-home use will be provided.
