Join us for Second Saturday at the Workhouse Art Center

You are invited to join us on an artistic adventure with an AAA meetup on Saturday June 13, from 6-8pm at the Workhouse Arts Center, located at 9518 Workhouse Way, Lorton, VA

On their monthly “Second Saturday,” the Workhouse offers an open house with the chance to meet artists working in a wide range of media from ceramics and glass to textile and painting. Artwork in these many genres is also on sale.

The Workhouse itself has a fascinating history as a nonprofit organization that transformed a former prison into a vibrant 55-acre arts campus. Explore the museum on site that features, among other things, the story of women suffragettes once incarcerated at the prison.

We encourage people to arrange carpooling for this event, It is approximately a one hour drive from Accokeek.
